ISO 9001

ISO 9001 establishes requirements for implementing, maintaining, and continually improving a Quality Management System (QMS), based on a process approach focused on consistent delivery of products and services, customer satisfaction, and continual improvement.

Explore the structure of the management system standard here.

Phases

Phase 1: Scope Definition

Define the QMS scope, including organizational boundaries, products and services, processes, and interested parties, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer requirements.

Phase 2: Gap Assessment and Governance

Conduct a gap assessment against ISO 9001 requirements to establish the QMS implementation plan. Establish governance, including roles, responsibilities, leadership commitment, and quality policy and objectives.

Phase 3: Risk Assessment and Treatment

Identify and map key processes, determine their interactions, and apply risk-based thinking to address risks and opportunities that may affect the conformity of products and services and customer satisfaction.

Phase 4: Process Establishment and Documentation

Establish and document QMS processes, including operational controls, performance monitoring, and documented information required to ensure consistency and effectiveness of operations.

Phase 5: Operations and Performance Evaluation

Operate the QMS, monitor and measure process performance, conduct internal audits and management reviews, and ensure personnel competence and awareness.

Phase 6: Certification Audit (Stage 1 and Stage 2)

Prepare for and support the certification audit, including Stage 1 (documentation and readiness review) and Stage 2 (implementation and effectiveness assessment), ensuring all requirements are met and objective evidence is available.

Phase 7: Certification and Continual Improvement

Address audit findings, support certification decision activities, and ensure continual improvement of the QMS to maintain certification and support surveillance audits.

Note: The defined phases are subject to adjustment based on the existence, current state, and maturity of the management system aligned with ISO 9001 requirements.

In addition, we provide ongoing support on a quarterly, biannual, or annual basis to maintain the management system in line with ISO 9001, ensuring continued conformity and successful surveillance or recertification assessments, as applicable.
